Position: Account Executive- Healthcare Vertical

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for generating new business within the Healthcare vertical, drive strategic, enterprise-wide sales of Metro Ethernet, Internet, Voice, Hosted PBX, Data Center, and Video services to a list of Named Targeted Accounts. Candidate must be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement by effectively managing sales funnel, preparing status reports and making recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential within the vertical.

Responsibilities include the development and implementation of sales strategy into the Healthcare vertical including identifying strategic partnerships, planning prospecting activity, and the cultivating of local partnerships and organizational affiliations. Actively researches and generates new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships. Actively seeks ways to promote and position the Hotwire Fision Work brand within the vertical.


  • The preferred candidate must have demonstrated top performance in previous quota-carrying sales roles: strong leadership skills, an ability to operate in positions requiring significant self-direction and motivation, and a proven track record in consultative selling solutions.
  • Telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Understands effective negotiation techniques and is alert to customer buying signals and identifies and acts on closing opportunities.
  • Sales experience within the Healthcare vertical highly desirable. Ideal candidate will have existing established relationships within the vertical.
  • 5+ years successful strategic/solutions and/or systems integration sales experience or related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with C-Level executives, polished and professional, ability to work effectively on their own and work well under tight deadlines. Able to effectively work on multiple projects at a time. Must be well organized, able to manage time wisely and to identify short and long term goals to achieve overall team/company objectives.
  • Experience in effectively managing a sales funnel of multiple leads, prospects and opportunities using Salesforce.com, preparing sales forecasts, account status reports, appointment schedules, quota deadlines and activity plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
