Purpose Statement:

The primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive education and training to internal departments. This includes new-hire and recurring trainings with knowledge testing.


The Training Specialist will be a professional face of the company and at times will be required to meet with outside vendors in an effort to qualify various training initiatives as directed by supervisor. This role will also support all company departments from a new product development perspective prior to launch.  This role will be responsible for both new and existing employee training needs as reasonably assigned by supervisor. 


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducts needs assessments/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with mission training objectives and develops training plans as needed
  • Proactively learn and stay current with all Hotwire products, services, process and procedures as well as the competitive landscape of the industry to be prepared for customer questions and requests in order to compare Fision service with others
  • Create written content in support of upgrade, or creation of new courses
  • Assist in development of internal training classes corporate-wide (Departmental)
  • Confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies
  • Coordinate with department heads to collect and assess education and training opportunities to decrease call center volumes and/or increase company-wide efficiencies
  • Work with outside vendors as needed to assess programs/software applications/delivery systems/etc. that will help meet the training and developmental needs of the company
  • Collaborate with cross functional department leaders to establish curriculum as needed for departments company wide
  • Work with different levels of employees throughout the company
  • Perform all other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 or more years Training Experience
  • Ability to travel as needed (50% of travel)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong English verbal and written skills


  • Amdocs System preferred
